The Edwards EST SIGA-CR is an intelligent, addressable control relay module used in fire alarm systems to operate external equipment like door holders, smoke dampers, and fan shutdowns.
Form “C” Dry Contact: Provides one normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) relay contact.
Electronic Addressing: Uses an onboard microprocessor with an address downloaded automatically by the loop controller during setup (no physical DIP switches).
Standby and Active Power: Operates on the data loop with very low current draw, utilizing the Edwards SIGA-CR design for standard 1-gang electrical box mounting.
Supervision Note: The unit does not internally supervise the connected external wiring or device state; the onboard processor only confirms that the relay itself switches to the correct ON/OFF position.
