System Architecture & Components
The system is divided into two primary parts that work together to balance the flow and control fluid pressure across your zones:
- EQF 01 / EQF 05 (Main Control Valve): This is the dynamic core of the EQUIFLUID system. It automatically adjusts to system fluctuations using a spring and membrane mechanism to maintain a constant differential pressure.
- EQF 02 / EQF 03 (“Partner” Valve): The partner valve connects to the circuit and pairs with the main valve. It handles flow measurement, acts as a transmission point for system pressure via a capillary pipe, and isolates individual flow branches.
- GBC 01 / GBC 05 (Balancing Units): For multi-outlet manifold setups, IVAR groups these together as complete balancing units. These units tie the control valve, partner valve, capillary pipe, and manifold outlets into a single sub-assembly
